Revised MDCPS Calendar As a result of Hurricane Irma, MDCPS cancelled 7 days of school last month. The loss of instructional time can result in impacts to student learning and therefore adjustments to the school calendar were necessary to return this valuable time to students and teachers. Volunteers needed for Book Fair Parents, we need volunteers for our upcoming book fair. The book fair will take place the week of October 16. Please contact your child's teacher if you would like to volunteer. This is an excellent opportunity for PAVE hours. Trunk or Treat Donations Just a friendly reminder that we need candy and snack donations for Trunk or Treat. We also need parents to volunteer to use their cars for the event. We are hoping for two cars per class. Please contact your child's teacher if you can either donate items or volunteer.
